As technology has progressed and creative visual identity has become more valued in our society, I have come to develop a strong interest in the world of digital arts. My work is the result of exploring and combining digital photography and graphic design.

I start by taking close-up portraits and then digitally alter the images. I utilize Adobe programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom in order to create my pieces. Visually, I exploit both traditional and contemporary design elements.

Detached is the title of this series of images. I hope to challenge traditional perspectives of portraiture by including irrational and opposing narratives that disrupt the initial image. I invite the viewer to release their unconscious mind and assign their own meaning to these surreal images.
