As part of a comprehensive study of the many different uses, applications, and meanings of the word “melt,” I aim to explore the action of crayons melting using video as a means to disrupt scale, time, and reality. This up-close observation studies the merging of colors and the way that they change form, context, and meaning through different cycles of heat and manipulation.
